An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plumbing Lecturer to join a leading Further Education provider in Greater Manchester. We are seeking a passionate industry professional to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to learners studying Plumbing qualifications and apprenticeships.

You will be responsible for teaching and supporting learners across Level 1 and Level 2 Plumbing programmes, including BPEC qualifications and Plumbing Apprenticeships, helping them develop the technical skills and industry knowledge required for successful careers in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Level 1 and Level 2 Plumbing programmes.
Teach and assess learners undertaking BPEC Plumbing qualifications and Apprenticeship Standards.
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons and practical workshop sessions.
Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and support.
Conduct assessments in line with awarding body and apprenticeship requirements.
Maintain accurate learner records and documentation.
Promote high standards of health and safety within workshop environments.
Support curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A full Plumbing qualification at Level 3 or above.
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent).
An Assessor Award (TAQA, A1, CAVA or equivalent).
Recent and relevant industry experience within the plumbing sector.
Experience delivering or assessing vocational qualifications and/or apprenticeships.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A passion for developing future plumbing professionals.
