CMD Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client on an exceptional new opportunity for a forward-thinking Warehouse Manager.

Our client is a family-owned business that has been crafting beauty from luxury products for over 35 years. They are offering a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, driven individual to take full ownership of their warehouse operations.

In this role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve company objectives, maintain strong relationships with their customer base, and deliver a quality service as efficiently as possible. You will take direct responsibility for managing a small team, alongside overseeing daily standards and stock management.

As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a central role in the smooth running of their warehouse.

Manage, support, and coordinate the goods in team and picking teams
Directly manage the two warehouse team leaders (Goods In & Pick/Pack)
Manage the stock. Schedule stock movements between sites, coordinate departmental transfers, conduct regular physical counts, and reconcile variances.
Arrange and maintain all storage areas efficiently, organising floor space and adhering to best practice design principles to maximise safety and space.
Maintain warehouse machinery, troubleshoot breakdowns, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage the building security and alarm systems.
Schedule transport with the 3PL company to keep logistics running smoothly.
Plan routes for 3 x Hiab vehicles and coordinate daily
Partner with the Operations Manager to implement process changes, corrective actions, and productivity improvements.Our client is seeking a candidate who brings both the technical qualifications and the personal qualities to make a real impact.

Due to the site location, travel to 3 separate sites is essential, meaning access to a car is vital for this role.
Previous experience using an ERP or WMS System.
Strong ability to prioritise workloads, manage multiple tasks and keep operations running to schedule.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively across departments and with external suppliers.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a respected, design-led business and make a meaningful contribution to their team.

Although their headquarters are in Devizes, Wiltshire, this position is primarily based at their warehouse in Melksham, with some travel required between the two sites
