Your responsibilities will include supporting daily routines, personal care, and classroom activities, as well as promoting positive behaviour and social-emotional development. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and happiness of children, creating a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of high-quality early years education in a nursery setting in Cardiff
* Collaborate with the Class Teacher to create an inclusive and stimulating environment
* Assist with daily routines, including personal care and classroom management
* Promote positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional development
* Contribute to planning and organising engaging activities that promote learning and development
* Ensure children's safety and well-being are maintained at all times
Requirements:
* Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting in Cardiff
* Ability to provide personal care and support children’s individual needs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of early years curriculum and safeguarding procedures
* Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
* Relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare is preferred
