We are currently recruiting 2 x experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Normanton.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position with a well-established transport operation.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Monday 29th June
End Date: Friday 28th August
Potential temp-to-perm opportunity available
Day shifts with typical start times of 05:00 or 06:00
HGV Class 1 (C+E) deliveries and collections
Curtainsider trailers (palletised goods, no handball)
Trunking between depots, RDCs and client sites
Monday to Friday work
£17.25 per hour (PAYE)
Weekly PAYE pay
Driver Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points
No serious endorsements (including DD, DR, CD, IN or TT codes)
Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
Professional and customer-focused attitude

The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious and confident completing deliveries and collections while representing both our agency and the client professionally.
