Location: Rugby, West Midlands

Owen Daniels are supporting a leading engineering company in Rugby and we are looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.

Key Account Manager – Key responsibilities:

Develop and deliver sales strategies and account plans aligned with customer requirements.
Manage day-to-day commercial tasks, including quotes and pricing, while improving overall profitability.
Coordinate projects with internal teams and customers, ensuring smooth delivery and managing any changes effectively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts through regular communication and site visits.
Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts, and follow company policies on health, safety, and quality.

Key Account Manager - Essential Skills & Experience:

Qualifications in Engineering are desirable such as HNC, HND or degree
Minimum of 5 years in a sales/account management position in the Automotive industry or similar
Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
Ability to keep strong working relationships with customers and suppliers
