The Role
We are looking for an inspiring French Teacher who can deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that encourage students to develop confidence and fluency in the French language. The successful candidate will be committed to raising standards, promoting a love of languages, and ensuring all learners achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*
Encouraging students to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
*
Contributing to the wider Modern Foreign Languages department and school community.

Candidate Requirements
The successful French Teacher will possess:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

A degree in French, Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.

Experience teaching French at secondary level.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
