Parts Advisor Vacancy in Kettering Main Dealer
Our client, a well-established family-run main dealership with over 20 years of success in the motor trade, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join their dedicated aftersales team in Kettering. This is a standalone Parts Advisor role, offering genuine autonomy to take ownership of the parts department and contribute meaningfully to the dealership’s continued success.
Key responsibilities of the Parts Advisor:
Managing retail and trade parts enquiries with professionalism and efficiency
Supplying parts accurately and promptly to the workshop team
Ordering, receiving, and maintaining optimal stock levels
Processing invoices, warranties, and return procedures with accuracy
Identifying sales opportunities through excellent customer service
Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to enhance department performanceRequirements:
Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade sector
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Well-developed organisational and IT skills
Self-motivated with the confidence to work independently
Ability to manage stock efficiently and handle multiple priorities effectivelyBenefits:
Basic salary of £28,000 with bonus and overtime opportunities, with OTE reaching approximately £32,000
Standalone role allowing ownership of the parts department
