Are you an experienced automotive technician seeking a new role within a progressive and forward-thinking automotive garage?

Our client, a cutting-edge high-tech car garage in Petersfield, is actively looking to appoint an EV Diagnostic Technician.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians with a background in electric vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to develop their career within a dynamic, future-focused environment.

Benefits of a EV Diagnostic Technician:

Competitive salary circa £45,000, depending on experience
40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Saturdays on a 1-in-4 rota, 8.30am to 1pm, supporting work-life balance

Perform electric vehicle servicing and repairs to the highest standards
Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify faults accurately
Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment to support repairs
Assist in maintaining workshop standards, health, and safety procedures
Collaborate to ensure a smooth workflow and high service quality
Offer technical support and advice to team members, contributing to team success
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop environment
Maintain accurate records of work and communicate findings effectively to clientsRequirements of a EV Diagnostic Technician:

Proven experience as an EV Diagnostic Technician or mechanic in a busy workshop setting
Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to swiftly identify vehicle faults
Relevant qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with specific training in Electric Vehicle and Hybrid systems
Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team
Excellent organisational skills and a professional work attitude
Up-to-date knowledge of electric vehicle technology and safety procedures
