Fire & Security Small Works or Service Engineer- South West- £35,000- £44,000+

* £35,000 - £44,000 per annum + Overtime (DOE)

* Full-Time, Permanent

* On-call rota (1 in 6) (Optional for Small Works) £180 standby payment (Friday to Friday)

About the Role

This role focuses on the installation, modification, remedial works, and system additions or servicing across a range of fire and security systems on small to medium sized projects.

You'll be joining an established Fire & Security Small Works or Service Engineer team of engineers, with plans to expand as the department continues to grow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for long term career development within a business that invests heavily in training, technology and employee progression.

Fire & Security Small Works or Service Engineer Key Responsibilities:

* Install, modify and upgrade or service fire and security systems across commercial and high security environments.

* Deliver small to medium sized installation projects to a high standard.

* Complete remedial works, system additions, servicing and customer requested modifications.

* Carry out basic commissioning and testing of installed systems.

* Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and company procedures.

* Accurately complete job documentation and reports using company systems.

* Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

Fire & Security Small Works or Service Engineer Skills & Experience:

* Advanced knowledge experience of fire & security systems

* 5+ years' experience within the fire and security industry.

* Proven installation or servicing experience across multiple disciplines.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
