Aspire People is recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the B93 area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in education, youth work, care, support work, or behaviour mentoring.
The Role
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
Building positive relationships to help pupils engage with learning
Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored support
Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
We Are Looking For
✔ Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
✔ A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ A genuine passion for helping children succeed
✔ SEMH/SEN experience is desirable but not essential
