Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Fault Finding
Carry out electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and repairs across automated systems
Maintain conveyors, automated storage systems, motors, sensors, control panels and packaging equipment
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Support equipment installations and commissioning
Assist with machinery upgrades and site expansion projects
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency
Safety & Compliance
Follow site health & safety procedures at all times
Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation
Team Support
Work closely with production teams and engineering colleagues
Provide technical support during breakdowns and operational challenges
About You
Minimum 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing, food production, cold storage, or automated environment
Multi-skilled engineer, ideally with strong electrical bias
Experience with 3-phase systems, PLC-controlled equipment and automation preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Able to work safely at height when required
