Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Incredible Time Off (100+ Days Annual Leave!)

Salary: £45,700 per annum
Location: Leyland
Shift Pattern: Days and Nights

We’re working with a leading manufacturing business in Leyland that continues to expand year after year. Due to ongoing growth and investment, they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team.

The Role – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across production machinery and site equipment.
Work as part of a skilled maintenance team to deliver reliability improvements.
Support engineering projects, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, with a focus on minimising downtime.
Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

Mechanical Bias
Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment (forces backgrounds also considered).
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
Confident working with pumps, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Good organisation and communication skills.
PC literate; IOSH or H&S qualification desirable.
