Looking for a permanent Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor in Wiltshire. This role involves taking commercial responsibility for multiple groundworks packages including roads, drainage, foundations, and externals, on residential developments across the South West.
You’ll work closely with operational teams and housebuilder clients, managing projects from initial cost planning through to final accounts.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in quantity surveying within groundworks or civil engineering, with a strong understanding of residential projects.
You should be commercially savvy, proactive in problem-solving, and capable of managing multiple live sites simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll be liaising directly with clients and site teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.
What's required:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks or civil engineering
Strong track record working with residential developers or housebuilders
Commercially sharp with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
