For a client project, we are currently looking for a-/anIT Payment Architect/Advisor (f/m/d) - strategic payments transformation - Swift AML

Task:

• Lead discovery workshops to analyze the current (As-Is) landscape and define the target (To-Be) architecture
• Derive architectural options considering costs, benefits, risks, and migration requirements
• Lead the definition and shaping of the bank's architecture for a resilient and scalable payments platform and related infrastructure
• Develop detailed architectural blueprints, including integrations, data flows, and system dependencies
• Shape future-proof architecture aligned with business expectations and relevant EMEA/EU regulatory requirements
• Provide strategic advisory capabilities across architecture, technology, and payment transformation initiatives

Requirement:

• Strong capability to act as both Solution Architect and trusted advisor, combining architectural, technological, and strategic expertise
• Deep knowledge of international payments technologies, including:
• SWIFT, ISO 20022
• AML principles
• Fraud & sanctions screening
• Industry best practices within banking environments
• Proven experience in large-scale and complex payments
  transformation programmes within banks or payment processing companies
• Strong experience with end-to-end assessment, solution design, and implementation across complex multi-application environments
• Hands-on expertise with:
  API-first architecture
  Microservices architecture
  Event-driven architecture

Duration: 6 months
Utilization: 5 Days per week

Location: Frankfurt or UK
Delivery Model: Remote 80%, Frankfurt am Main or UK (3 days per month)
