Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact in education?
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary SEND setting based in Richmond, from September 2026 for the full academic year on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist environment that supports students with Autism and a range of learning difficulties. The school is committed to providing a nurturing, structured and engaging environment where every student is encouraged and supported to achieve their full potential.

This Teaching Assistant role will include –

Assisting students with Autism and additional learning needs within the classroom environment.
Working on a one-to-one basis and with small groups to support learning and engagement.
Helping to implement individual learning strategies and support plans.
Supporting positive behaviour and promoting emotional wellbeing.
The idea candidate will have –

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND, Autism or additional learning needs.
The ability to remain calm and adaptable within different situations.
A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed.
A patient, empathetic and positive approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
