Adecco Workington are delighted to be recruiting for a Buyer on behalf of one of our valued clients based in the Carlisle area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to establish or further develop a career within purchasing and procurement. The role offers full training and support, making it ideal for candidates who have transferable skills from supply chain, planning, administration, stock control, customer service or commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting purchasing activities across the business
Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
Assisting with sourcing products and negotiating prices
Monitoring stock levels and demand trends
Working with internal teams to support commercial objectives
Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier informationWhat We're Looking For:
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive and commercially minded approach
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
Ability to build effective working relationships
Previous experience within a purchasing, supply chain or commercial role would be advantageousWhat's on Offer:
Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
Full training and ongoing development
Hybrid working available following probation
33 days holiday including bank holidays
Pension scheme
