SEN Teacher / HLTA – West Yorkshire
£110–£220 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN Teachers and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of specialist educational settings throughout West Yorkshire.
We work with SEN schools, SEMH provisions, alternative provisions, PMLD settings, and specialist schools supporting pupils aged 2–19 with a variety of additional needs.
The Role
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons and interventions
Support pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
Lead small groups, whole-class sessions, or provide targeted 1:1 support
Work collaboratively with teaching, therapy and support staff
Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or HLTA qualification, or significant relevant experience
Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
Desirable
Experience within SEN, SEMH, PMLD or alternative provision settings
Team Teach training
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
