A busy, friendly primary school in Handsworth is looking for an organised, confident, and professional School Administrator to join their front‑office team. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates clearly, and keeps school operations running smoothly.
🗂️ Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
* Managing calls, emails, and daily office communication
* Updating pupil records using MIS systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom
* Supporting attendance processes and first‑day response
* Assisting with admissions, data entry, and compliance paperwork
* Providing admin support to SLT, pastoral teams, and teaching staff
* Handling confidential information with professionalism
* Supporting safeguarding procedures and visitor sign‑in
👩💼 What the School Needs
* Strong experience in school administration
* Confident use of MIS systems and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
* A calm, professional, and approachable manner
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
