About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Skilled Leakage Team Leader to join their growing operations in Dundee. This is a key field-based leadership role focused on reducing water loss, improving network performance, and managing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, manage, and motivate field-based leakage detection teams

* Plan and coordinate daily workloads to ensure efficient service delivery

* Identify, locate, and assess leaks using industry-standard detection equipment (e.g. acoustic loggers, correlators)

* Drive reduction in Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and meet performance targets

* Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures

* Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and support where required

* Liaise with repair teams and operational stakeholders to ensure timely leak resolution

* Maintain accurate records using mobile systems, GIS, and reporting tools

* Conduct site audits and ensure quality standards are consistently met

Requirements

* Proven experience in leakage detection within the water/utilities sector

* Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role

* Strong knowledge of leak detection techniques and equipment

* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop field teams

* Good understanding of health & safety practices

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

* Full UK driving licence (essential)
