Technical Coordinator
Location: Collingham, Newark
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
Linear are working alongside a growing house builder who is looking for a Technical Coordinator with strong drawing experience to support residential construction projects from design through to completion. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will coordinate technical information, produce drawings, and ensure projects are compliant and buildable.
Key Responsibilities
Produce, review, and update technical drawings and project documentation.
Coordinate technical aspects of housing developments.
Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Manage drawing registers and document version control.
Support planning applications and regulatory compliance.
Review technical specifications and supplier information.
Attend site meetings and provide technical support.
Ensure approvals, warranties, and compliance documents are obtained and maintained.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical role within the UK housing/construction sector.
Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial).
Strong technical drawing and design skills.
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Relevant qualification in a construction-related field preferred.
