Job Summary

Altrad are looking for a Construction Supervisor to manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role coordinates daily activities on-site, ensures work follows project plans and safety standards, and communicates project status to key stakeholders. The Construction Supervisor leads construction teams, handles scheduling, monitors quality, and resolves issues as they arise.

Job Duties

* Supervise all on-site activities and construction personnel during each phase of a project

* Ensure work is completed according to contractual specifications, building codes, and safety guidelines

* Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to communicate timelines, resource needs, and goals

* Inspect work progress, verify measurements, and approve quality of finished tasks

* Enforce safety policies and correct unsafe behaviours or conditions

* Resolve conflicts and technical problems that arise during construction

* Maintain accurate records of daily work activities, including labour, materials, and equipment used

* Monitor inventory of materials and request supplies as needed

* Conduct site meetings to review project plans and status with workers and contractors

* Ensure timely completion of work within set deadlines and budget limits

* Support training and orientation for new crew members and subcontractors

* Report project progress, incidents, and delays to management

Key Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Proven experience supervising construction sites or teams

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, building techniques, and safety standards

* Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

* Familiarity with tools, materials, and equipment used in construction

* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work

* Physical ability to walk, stand, or lift objects throughout the workday

* Valid driver’s license
