An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering some of the UK's most significant nuclear decommissioning and infrastructure programmes in Cumbria. Working on major projects at Sellafield, you will support the safe remediation of legacy nuclear facilities and the delivery of critical new infrastructure, helping to reduce environmental hazards and contribute to one of Europe's most complex clean-up missions. This role would suit a commercially focused professional with experience in engineering, infrastructure, construction, defence, energy or other highly regulated sectors who enjoys working in complex project environments and is looking to develop their career on nationally significant programmes, with excellent opportunities for professional development and chartership progression.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver commercial and quantity surveying activities across nuclear decommissioning and infrastructure projects.
Manage cost forecasting, valuations, change control, contract administration and commercial reporting.
Support project teams in maximising commercial performance whilst ensuring compliance with governance procedures and contractual requirements.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost savings and continuous improvement across project delivery.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Nuclear, Infrastructure or similar sectors.
Degree qualified in relevant discipline
