Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable franchise dealership, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated workshop team. Basic salary of up to £36,000, with an actual OTE of approximately £45,000

Conduct a comprehensive range of mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
Keep detailed repair records and ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards
Guide and mentor junior technicians and apprentices when required
Assist in maintaining the workshop’s high standards of safety, cleanliness, and productivity
Perform MOT testing (desirable but not essential)
Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniquesRequirements:

Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification
Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent garage
Valid MOT licence is desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
