Are you an experienced Installation, Commissioning or Service Engineer looking for a role where you can work on technically advanced industrial machinery across a wide range of manufacturing environments?
Our client is a well-established and highly respected engineering business supplying specialist end-of-line automation and packaging equipment throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to support projects across the UK.
The Role
As an Installation & Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Installing and commissioning industrial machinery at customer sites
* Conducting machine performance trials and system testing
* Providing technical support following installation
* Delivering operator and maintenance training
* Working alongside customers, suppliers and project teams
* Supporting service engineers with technical troubleshooting when required
What We're Looking For
* Mechanical and electrical engineering experience
* Experience installing, commissioning or servicing industrial machinery
* Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
* Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays
