The Best Early Years Practitioners Understand One Simple Truth...

Every child develops differently.

Rising Hope Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and highly inclusive primary school in Canning Town, which is seeking an outstanding EYFS Teaching Assistant to join its Early Years team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and understands how important those first years of education can be.

The school has a wonderfully diverse intake and a strong reputation for inclusion. Within the setting, there are a number of children with additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech and Language Needs, Social Communication Difficulties and Sensory Processing Needs.

As a result, we're looking for someone who can confidently support children across a wide range of abilities and developmental stages.

The Role

You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff within the Early Years setting, helping children to develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Some children will require additional support to access learning, whilst others will need encouragement to extend and challenge themselves.

No two days are ever quite the same.

Your role may involve:

* Supporting children during play-based learning activities

* Delivering small group interventions

* Supporting children with Autism and communication needs

* Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional regulation

* Promoting independence and confidence

* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and families

What We're Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who:

* Have experience working with children in EYFS or Primary settings

* Understand child development and early learning

* Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism (ASC)

* Are patient, energetic and nurturing

* Can build positive relationships quickly

* Are committed to helping every child succeed

Why This School?

This is a school where inclusion isn't a buzzword.

It's embedded within everything they do.

Staff are genuinely valued, children are known as individuals and there is a strong culture of teamwork throughout the school.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to become part of a supportive school community and make a lasting difference during the most important years of a child's education.

Interviews are taking place immediately for a September start.
