Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00am – 16:30pm)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 p.a.

Next Generation have been appointed to recruit for a Maintenance Manager to work for a well-established global leading manufacturing business based near Tewkesbury. As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Engineers whilst having the ability to lead from the front.

Duties of the Maintenance Manager:

* Managing and supporting the maintenance department

* Managing reactive breakdowns to minimise downtime and disruption to production

* Overseeing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities

* Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed and recorded accurately within the CMMS system

* Supporting training and development of maintenance team members

* Working closely with production and other departments to coordinate priorities and handovers

* Monitoring equipment performance and supporting improvements to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

* Managing shift documentation, permits, and maintenance records

* Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company procedures

* Supporting continuous improvement and engineering best practice across the site

The successful candidate for the Maintenance Managers position will have the following experience:

* Five years experience working as a Maintenance Manager / Supervisor (Essential)

* Either 17th or 18th edition certified (Essential)

* Electrically bias (Essential)

* Previous experience working with turned parts or a machining environment (Desirable)
