Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a well-established fresh produce manufacturing business to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for their site in Nottinghamshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced FMCG environment where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving site performance within a modern production facility. You’ll be responsible for supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and contributing to continuous improvement across the engineering function.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently and safely
* Support engineering-led improvement projects to enhance reliability and reduce downtime
* Work closely with Production, Technical, and Engineering teams to maintain smooth operations
* Assist with root cause analysis and long-term fault resolution
* Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health & safety and site procedures
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation
* Support installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment when required
On Offer
* Salary: Up to £45,000
* 11-hour shift pattern (Week 1: Sunday–Tuesday | Week 2: Sunday–Wednesday)
* Rotating days and backs
