£17.00 - £19.00 per hour | Full-Time | Permanent
North West England & Surrounding Areas
We are recruiting for an experienced Industrial Door & Automatic Door Engineer to join a well-established specialist engineering business covering the North West, with occasional travel further afield.
What's on Offer?
* £17.00 - £19.00 per hour (DOE)
* Weekly or monthly pay available
* Fully expensed company van
* Enhanced pension scheme
* 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Annual performance bonus of up to £2,000
* Overtime paid at:
* Time and a half for call-outs
* Double time after midnight and weekends
* Call-out rota: 1 week in 6
* Ongoing training and industry certifications available
Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
The Role
You'll carry out service, maintenance and repair work on:
* Industrial doors and shutters
* Automatic doors
* Gates and barriers
Responsibilities include:
* Planned maintenance and reactive repairs
* Fault finding and diagnostics
* Completing service reports
* Automation upgrades and retrofit work
* Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
The role is approximately:
* 70% Industrial Doors & Shutters
* 25% Automatic Doors
* 5% Gates & Barriers
About You
* Experience working on industrial doors, shutters, automatic doors, gates or barriers
* Strong fault-finding and repair skills
* Good understanding of automated systems
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
