Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Key Account Manager to join our sales team.

You will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing key customer relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service, and identifying opportunities to support business growth. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers while working closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop an existing customer base to achieve long-term business success and customer retention.
Maintain and update customer information and shared data spreadsheets accurately.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, responding promptly to enquiries and managing customer requirements.
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients.
Liaise with internal departments including Production, Quality, and Transport to resolve issues and communicate updates effectively to customers.
Monitor customer activity and sales performance metrics.
Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve customer engagement, and maximise capacity across the business.
Support the wider sales team and work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve departmental objectives.
Prepare and issue customer quotations in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct quarterly customer review meetings and customer satisfaction surveys.
Assist in implementing strategies to improve customer experience and drive business growth.Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, or Sales Executive role.
Demonstrable experience in managing customer relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.
Strong understanding of sales processes, sales performance metrics, and CRM systems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying business opportunities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.What We Offer
