Take charge of a children’s home and shape the care of young people with complex needs - while gaining valuable leadership experience and a clear pathway to management. You’ll support vulnerable children, influence care plans and develop your leadership skills.
This is your chance to step up, guide a small team, and work closely with the Registered Manager - setting you on course to gain your Level 5 Diploma and move into a management position.

What you’ll do
Help shape the home’s culture by guiding staff and supporting children through tailored care plans. You’ll work closely with the Registered Manager, gaining hands-on experience in leadership and decision-making.
Every day you’ll support children with routines, behaviour management, and life skills - giving them stability and helping them reach their potential. You’ll also coordinate with schools and external agencies, ensuring each child’s needs are met.
What you’ll need
* Proven experience as a residential support worker in a children’s home
* Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (preferred)
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and a commitment to safeguarding will help you thrive in this position.
