Job Title: QTS Tutor (Stockport)
Location: Stockport
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Part-Time | Flexible Hours | September Start
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QTS Tutor to support students in Stockport. The successful candidate will deliver one-to-one tutoring to students, helping to bridge learning gaps and boost their academic confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
Adapt lesson content and pace to support different learning styles and educational needs.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a supportive and safe learning environment.
Support students in developing subject knowledge, confidence, and engagement with learning.
Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to parents, carers, schools, or professionals as necessary.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring.
Experience working with learners in a one-to-one or small group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desirable Qualifications:
PGCE or additional teaching qualifications.
Experience supporting students with additional learning needs (SEN, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, etc.).
