We are recruiting to our Revenues and Benefits Service!

We are looking for someone who can bring transferable skills and experience to our team. We are recruiting to 2 full time positions.

As a Case Management Officer within our Business Rates team, you will play a key role in ensuring the prompt and efficient billing and collection of Business Rates on behalf of our client councils.

Typical duties include:

Interpreting and applying legislation, guidance and local policies.

Updating of computerised records.

Communicating with customers using a range of accessible communication methods (e.g. phone, email, written correspondence) to provide advice, explanations and clarification of decisions and actions.

Processing applications for Business Rates Relief in accordance with legislation, guidance and local policies.

Providing tailored support where customers may be experiencing financial difficulty or vulnerability, including helping them access appropriate advice, guidance or support services.

What you will need:

Experience of handling enquiries in a customer-focused environment.

GCSE C/4 or above in English and Maths.
