Are you an experienced and compassionate professional with a passion for supporting individuals with complex mental health needs?
We are recruiting a dedicated Male - Support Worker - Mental Health to join a dynamic, person-centred service in West London on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in mental health, forensic services, and recovery-focused care who is committed to helping individuals achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
About the Role
As a Support Worker - Mental Health , you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, helping them to build confidence, maintain wellbeing, and progress on their recovery journey.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role in promoting safety, independence, dignity, and long-term recovery while delivering compassionate and effective support.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Support Worker - Mental Health with experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Mental health services
* Forensic psychology
* Social care
* Community support services
* Supported living environments
You will be:
✔ Compassionate and empathetic
✔ Adaptable and resilient
✔ A positive role model with strong communication skills
✔ Confident in supporting individuals with complex needs
✔ Committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have:
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards a qualification
* Experience working within mental health and/or forensic settings
* Mental Health Nursing qualifications (desirable but not essential)
* A sound understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
All successful candidates will receive a comprehensive induction programme, alongside ongoing training and support to achieve relevant vocational qualifications.
