Temporary Contract – 3 Months
37 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday
We are recruiting for an experienced Parks & Green Spaces Officer to support the delivery and management of parks, open spaces, sports pitches, play areas, cemetery grounds, and highway verge maintenance across Kidderminster.
Key Duties:
Lead and coordinate Parks & Green Spaces operational teams.
Ensure public spaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Manage budgets, procurement, and service performance.
Drive service improvements and operational efficiencies.
Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and residents.
Essential Requirements:
Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
Experience managing parks, grounds maintenance, environmental services, or similar operations.
Budget management and team leadership experience.
Strong health & safety knowledge.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
Health & Safety qualification.
Local authority experience.
Experience with specialist operational software
