The Purchasing Administrator will be an integral part of the procurement team, helping to ensure materials and services are sourced in a timely and cost-effective manner to support production needs.

This role is ideal for a well-organised, proactive individual with strong communication skills and an interest in supply chain or logistics. You will play a key part in keeping production on schedule by coordinating effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Salary £27,000 - £29,000

Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, ordering, and tracking goods
Maintain accurate records and process purchase orders using internal systems
Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Work closely with production, sales, and accounts teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures and industry standards Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a purchasing, accounts, or administrative role (manufacturing or logistics environment preferred)
Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics coordination is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
