Overview
We are seeking a confident and engaging Humanities Teacher to join a secondary school in the M25 postcode on a long-term temporary basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons across the Humanities curriculum and quickly become part of a supportive department.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching Humanities subjects (e.g. History, Geography, RE) across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Assessing student progress and adapting teaching to meet varied needs
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Working collaboratively with departmental staff and wider school teams
What We're Looking For
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Humanities in a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
Ability to commit to a long-term role starting ASAP
ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
