We’re recruiting for a Scrub Nurse or ODP to join a leading independent provider of NHS cataract surgery covering the Dorchester area.
This is a great opportunity to develop within ophthalmic surgery, working in a supportive theatre team with clear training and progression opportunities.
The Role
Scrubbing for ophthalmic procedures
Supporting consultants during surgery
Preparing theatre equipment and clinical areas
Assisting with patient admission and discharge
Maintaining safe clinical practice and documentationYou’ll work 37.5 hours per week across 4 days (7:30am–5:30pm) within a local Dorchester site cluster.
What’s on Offer?
Starting salary up to £41,875 per annum - open to negotiation
4 day working week
Bonus schemes paid twice per year - up to 10% of annual salary
Specialist ophthalmic training
Clear progression opportunitiesRequirements
Registered Nurse (RGN) or ODP with valid registration (NMC or HCPC)
