We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a busy maintenance team carrying out works within social housing properties and communal areas throughout the Stockport region.
Duties and Responsibilities
Internal and external painting and decorating works within occupied and void social housing properties.
Preparation of surfaces including filling, sanding, stripping, and making good prior to decoration.
Painting walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, skirting boards, and communal areas.
Carrying out minor repair works as required before decorating.
Working within occupied homes while maintaining high levels of customer service and professionalism.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.
Accurately completing job sheets and reporting any additional works required.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Painter & Decorator within social housing, property maintenance, or domestic environments.
Ability to carry out all aspects of preparation and finishing work to a high standard.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Own vehicle and tools required.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
