Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work in local Primary Schools in and around the Newmarket area to start September 2026 or earlier. Experience essential.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location - Newmarket
* Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
* Contract or position start date - September 2026 or earlier
* Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
* Contract type - Long-Term Temporary
* Full time/part time - Part time to Full time
* Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £95-110 per day
* Hours -8.30 am - 3pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience with SEN/SEMH is ESSENTIAL
Previous TA/LSA experience
GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related referencesOTHER
