Location: Bristol, Avon
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 base salary
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 18:00, Friday 07:00 – 16:00

About the Client:
Interaction Technical has partnered with a well-established national plant hire firm to support their team expansion. Our client is looking to onboard an engineer from plant, HGV, or agricultural backgrounds. They offer a comprehensive training scheme with the opportunity to go into a field role in the future.

The Package:

20 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays
Full training and ongoing development
Opportunity to gain various certifications (LOLER, CSCS etc)

Quarterly bonuses
Christmas shut down and bonuses
Opportunity to go into a field role in the future
Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment in the workshop
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices
Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting
Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance
80/20 workshop based role, so sometimes it will be required of you to attend the clients site and carry out any necessary repairs or services, once competent
Requirements:

Previous experience in the plant, HGV, or agricultural industry (essential)
Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)
Experience working on engines (advantageous)
Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience
A desire to lead, manage, and grow a team
Relevant qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering) (advantageous)
Full UK Driver's License
