Are you a passionate German Teacher eager to inspire students through language learning?
GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated and knowledgeable MFL German Teachers to work in schools across Dartford.
As a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher, you’ll be teaching German to students across key stages 3, 4 and 5, helping them develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while fostering a genuine interest in language learning. The successful candidate will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities of an MFL German Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging German lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support students according to the curriculum and syllabus
Assess, monitor, and track student progress and attainment
Develop students’ confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding German
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments
Encourage students to develop an appreciation of German language and culture
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff
Requirements of an MFL German Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German, Modern Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field
Experience teaching German within a school setting is desirable
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Passion for language education and student achievement
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
