Location: Walsall/ Wolverhampton

Start Date: ASAP/ September 2026

Pay rate: £95-£120 (dependent on experience)

Are you confident, adaptable and passionate about working with young people? Do you enjoy leading a classroom and making a real impact in schools without the full responsibilities of a qualified teacher role?

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Walsall and Wolverhampton, starting ASAP or September 2026.

This is a great opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced education professionals who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience and build relationships within local schools.

Role and responsibilities

Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
Ensure students remain on task with pre-set work
Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
Support students with their learning where appropriate
Follow school policies and procedures at all times
Provide feedback to teaching staff where required
Requirements

Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
Ability to engage and motivate students across a range of subjects
Flexible reliable and proactive attitude
Experience working with young people such as in schools coaching youth work or tutoring is desirable but not essential
A genuine interest in education and supporting student progress
