Paint Sprayer - Manufacturing - £3k Signing Bonus
Denham | £35,500 | Permanent | Days
We're recruiting an experienced Paint Sprayer for a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham. You'll be applying precision coatings to aviation safety components - this is industrial manufacturing spray work, not automotive body repair.
What you'll be doing:
Applying primers, topcoats, lacquers, and specialist coatings (including dry film lubricants) to engineering components using spray guns
Working to technical specifications and engineering drawings
Masking components using tapes, plugs, and bungs to precise requirements
Setting and operating curing ovens to specified temperatures and durations
Inspecting finished work - visual checks plus measuring paint thickness and gloss levels
Unmasking and touching up components as required
Maintaining spray booth equipment, pumps, and machinery
Managing stock levels on SAP and ensuring batch traceability
What you need:
Proven spray painting experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (not automotive body shop)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Understanding of H&S procedures and COSHH regulations
Basic IT skills and competency with hand tools
Flexibility to work double day shifts
GCSEs (A-C) in Maths and English
What's on offer:
£35,500 base salary + 22.5% shift allowance every second week
£3,000 signing bonus (paid in first year)
Double day shifts: Earlies 06:00-14:00 Mon-Thu / 06:00-12:00 Fri, Afters 13:45-22:00 Mon-Thu / 11:45-15:00 Fri
