The role
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging and structured lessons across a variety of school settings, covering EYFS, KS1, and KS2 depending on your preference and experience.
This role offers complete flexibility - whether you are looking for a few days per week, full-time supply, or a better work-life balance around existing commitments.
You will take responsibility for:
• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
• Adapting teaching style to suit different classroom environments
• Maintaining strong classroom management and a positive learning atmosphere
• Following school policies and ensuring continuity of learning
• Building strong relationships with pupils and school staff
• Representing a high standard of teaching professionalism across all placements
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within primary education (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to different school environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
• Experience working in multiple school settings
• Confidence delivering across different year groups
• Ability to quickly build rapport with new classes and teams
• Strong organisational skills and reliability
