Essential criteria for Locum Doctors

* Must hold full Registration with GMC with a licence to practise

* 6 months experience working within NHS

* Right to work in UK

* Valid Access NI enhanced disclosure (or willingness to obtain one)

* Medical indemnity cover

* BLS/ALS certification as appropriate to the role

* Two professional references

* Up-to-date appraisal and revalidation

Pay Rates for Gastroenterology Locums

EmRec pays Gastroenterology locum doctors on a grade-based rate structure:

* FY1: £39.75 per hour

* FY2, CT1-3, ST1: £57 per hour

* ST2-6, Specialty Doctor: £72 per hour

* Consultant, Specialist, Associate Specialist grade: £118 per hour
