We are looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Sheffield team, operating skip and RoRo vehicles across the local area. This is a hands-on role for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, good customer service, and keeping their vehicle to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing
Operating HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently.
Delivering, exchanging and collecting containers across commercial and industrial sites.
Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly (DVSA compliance).
Using tablet-based systems to maintain accurate digital records and waste transfer notes.
Working safely at all times and following site, transport and road regulations.
Providing a professional and helpful service to customers on site.
Supporting the wider transport and depot team at our Sheffield site.What we’re looking for

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
New Pass Drivers Welcome: We actively welcome applications from newly qualified drivers. If you have recently gained your licence, we provide the necessary support and industry-specific training to help you kickstart your career.
While previous experience in skip or RoRo operations is an advantage, it is not essential as full training is provided.
A strong understanding of driver compliance, vehicle safety, and daily defect checks.
A reliable, professional approach with strong safety standards.
Good communication skills and a practical, customer-focused attitude.
Flexibility to support operational needs, including a 6am start and occasional Saturday work.What you’ll get

£15.00 per hour
Overtime paid at x1.5 after 45h
