Mobile Train Presentation Operative (Nights)

Bradford Interchange – Mobile Across West Yorkshire

£13.57 per hour

6-Month Contract (Temp to Perm)

If you take pride in leaving things better than you found them and want a night role where your standards actually matter this could be your next long-term career move.

Every morning, thousands of passengers rely on the work you complete overnight on the Yorkshire region.

This is where you own the result!

About the role

You’ll be the person who ensures every train is safe, spotless, and ready for service.

Working independently across multiple West Yorkshire locations, you’ll:

Travel using a company vehicle between four key sites, with Bradford Interchange as your home base.

Complete full interior cleans which includes mopping, vacuuming, litter removal, touch-point sanitising.

Work to strict depot and fleet safety standards.

Keep on top of stock, cleaning materials, and nightly requirements.

Hit nightly deadlines so the first service of the day leaves on time, every time.

If you value autonomy, clear routines, and the satisfaction of seeing a job done well, you’ll thrive in this environment.

This isn’t a short-term seasonal job. It’s a direct pathway onto the core operational team of a major UK train operator.

Here’s what you can expect:

A long-term future where high performers are moved into permanent roles.

Full training, including depot protection, safety protocols, and cleaning processes.

A role with purpose in your work directly improves passenger experience.

Stable nights rota with a shift pattern of 5 on 4 off / 4 on 5 off (19:30–05:30).

Independence as you’re trusted to run your own nightly route.

If you’ve ever wanted a career in rail but didn’t know where to start, this is the entry point that builds into something much bigger.

What you’ll need

A full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years

Experience in industrial, vehicle, facilities, or high-volume cleaning (ideal but not essential)

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Ability to work in a safety-critical environment

Ability to pass a medical, including drug & alcohol screening

Next steps

If this feels like the kind of role you could see yourself owning, start with a quick application. Apply now or email . A short video interview will follow for suitable applicants.

Successful candidates will then complete a medical, drug & alcohol test and RTW checks.
