🔍 The Role

As a Children's Assessment Social Worker, you will:

Undertake Section 17 & Section 47 assessments
Carry out timely, high-quality child and family assessments
Manage a varied caseload within statutory timescales
Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to safeguard children
Contribute to effective decision-making at the point of referral
Participate in a duty rota, with every 4th week being a full duty week in the office

✅ What We're Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

A minimum of 3 years' permanent post-qualified experience within children's social care
At least 3 years' experience in an Assessment Team
Strong knowledge of UK safeguarding procedures, legislation and frameworks
Excellent assessment, communication, and risk management skills
A recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration

Based near Edgware, North London
