We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our client's manufacturing business. The successful candidate will lead the relocation of our factory to a new site and then take ongoing responsibility for managing and maintaining the facility.
This is a permanent role requiring someone with proven experience in relocating a manufacturing facility or factory, combined with strong facilities management experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the relocation of the factory to a new location.
* Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers throughout the move.
* Ensure the safe installation and commissioning of equipment and production lines.
* Minimise disruption to operations and production during the relocation.
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the facility once operational.
* Manage maintenance programmes, utilities, building services, and site infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the site.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience successfully relocating a factory or manufacturing facility.
* Facilities manufacturing management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong project management and organisational skills.
* Experience managing contractors and external suppliers.
* Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
