Location: Stroud
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 DOE
Shift Pattern: Double Day Shift (Early/Late Rotating)
Early Shift: Monday – Thursday: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Friday: 6:00 am – 11:30 am
Late Shift: Monday – Thursday: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Friday: 11:30 am – 5:00 pm

Our client, a successful engineering manufacturer based in Stroud, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Saw Operator / Stores Person to join their team on a double day shift pattern. Role Responsibilities
Operating saw machinery safely and efficiently within an engineering environment
Cutting raw materials to specification and production requirements
Loading and unloading materials using a Forklift Truck
Booking stock in and out accurately
Picking and preparing materials for production
Maintaining accurate stock control and material traceability
Supporting goods-in and dispatch activities
Ensuring housekeeping and health & safety standards are maintained at all times
The Person
Previous experience as a Saw Operator within an engineering or manufacturing business is essential
Valid Forklift Licence is essential
Ability to read and follow engineering instructions/specifications
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
